((Want to join? Go to the OOC thread here)) Luke slipped off his buy'ce and took a look around at his surroundings. The grimy cantina wasn't much, but it was what passed for civilization out here on Cheravh, and it would serve his purposes just fine. As he set the helmet down next to him, a young twi'lek waitress wandered over to the table. "Can I get you anything, hun?" "I'd like a net'ra gal. And some privacy. My business associates won't appreciate being bothered while they're here," he replied. "As you wish," the waitress said as she nodded and then walked off to the bar. Now, I just have to wait and see if any of them show up. I'll do this myself if I have to, but still... backup is nice, he thought to himself. The waitress reappeared a moment later, carrying a somewhat off-color net'ra gal. Luke tossed her a credit chip and took a sip of the black ale. He immediately regretted it. The ale, which was supposed to have a sweet taste, was bitter, more like a kri'gee. Luke pushed down his annoyance and set the drink down. I should be able to get a shab'la decent net'ra gal this close to Mandalore, he thought, irritated. As he decided against finishing the drink - he was pretty sure it shouldn't be that shade of brown, anyways - he kept an eye on the door, waiting for the others he had contacted about his mission to arrive.

It was a sorry excuse for a planet, Niobe thought as she considered the drooping cantina from the outside. Hopefully the job would be worth it, even if she had gotten the recommendation third hand. She adjusted her goggles and tried to look respectable, respectability usually worked with Mandalorians, and then slipped around the back of the bar and in through the kitchen window. Just in case.
The cook gave her a startled look as she climbed down an old crate. Niobe gave him her most disarming smile (which would hopefully disarm him of the knives he had gone for with his third and first hands) "Terribly sorry, sir. I'm meeting someone and you can never be to careful. " When honesty only produced a slight lessening of the scowl her eyes darted around the grimy kitchen and lighted on a well shined, much adored appliance. "Oh, is that a Corellian food processor? It's in fantastic shape. But the vaporizer looks a bit beaten up. I could help, if you like?"
Hand one let go of the knife and a deep growl replied, "I've tried. The wiring is bad."
Ten minutes later it was fixed and she had helped make a batch of gravy for the dinner menu. And Neela the waitress had mentioned a Mandalorian in the front waiting for someone. Hopefully he hadn't been kept for two long. Niobe made her excuses and entered the main room on lightly. A mandalorian man, helmetless, was across the room from the bar, watching the door. Grabbing a water from the counter and leaving a handful of credits she approached and stopped about ten feet away, for safeties sake.
She cleared her throat, in case he hadn't noticed yet. "Looking for someone, mister?"

Luke subtly kept an eye on the young woman as she approached him, but didn't say anything. She doesn't look familiar, he thought, but one of my contacts did say he'd pass on the invite to someone he knew. I suppose that could be her. What was the name? Niobe Ramble, I think.
When she spoke up, he turned to face her. "That depends," he said with a smile, "on who's asking. Niobe Ramble, I presume?"

The sound of her name made her shoulders hunch, there went the chance to stay anonymous through this, but didn't make her polite grin falter.
"That is correct. And you're the man who needs help. I never got your full name though. Something Skirata, was it?"

"Luke Skirata," he said, watching with interest as her body language changed after he said her name. "I'm not going to lie to you. The job I have in mind is very dangerous and my very well make you some powerful enemies, but it has the chance to pay very well and deal a blow against the Empire. If you don't want in, then leave and I'll forget you were ever here. Otherwise, sit down and we'll see if anyone else shows up."

She thought it over quickly. The Empire had risen when she was a child, she had no delusions of revolution. But a reputation and credits? Those mattered. And she she'd gotten herself in the black books of a few Imperial officers before, it couldn't be too dangerous.
The chair made a creaking sound as she collapsed into it. "I'm in."

"Glad to hear it," Luke said. "I'm expecting one more person to meet us here, and when he does, I'll explain everything."

Skull didn't quite like the feel of the planet but adaptation was something he was fairly good at, keeping a steady pace while he walked towards the door he left his black 74-Z speeder bike outside just hoping someone was dumb enough to try anything. Truth is , he had been meditating the last few weeks and the lack of interaction with other life did improve his abilities but also left him craving a little violence. Sadly enough one or two people only thought about it , but did nothing afterwards. His head visibly hung lower as a relatively large creature walked out from the building skull was about to enter, It seemed to simply shove him out of the way.
He laughed slightly If you like me that much all you had to do was say so, the creature turned around quickly obviously annoyed by the mentally unstable mercenary. All the creature said back was What did you say! before trying its luck with a right hook which Oliver was easily able to dodge , then he took two steps on the wall of the building and bashed the creature's face into his knees with as much force as he could gather up in those few seconds. The creature was disoriented but not out , Oliver quickly performed a headbut using the red mask he wore then sent the creature into a collision with a support beam,it fell. He walked in casually and ordered two glasses of the coldest water they had before leaning on the counter with a straw to drink from a small emergency oxygen hatch his mask had. It would collect more in a few minutes so he could open the hatch, drink and close it up giving it time to re-fill itself. The Red skull looked around at the few people sitting at tables discussing their own matters before rising from his stool and sitting on the counter. The human behind the counter calmly spoke. Trying to inform him of the rules Sir you're not allowed to do that, please get off the counter. Instead he answered by saying do you think that when we are not around to hear something make noise, it makes the same noise it would have made if we were around?? The person stood confused but saw that the Skull had no intention of causing trouble.

Luke looked up to see the man with the red mask making trouble at the bar. "There he is now." He stood up and grabbed his helmet - he didn't like to leave it anywhere, put it on, and made his way to the man at the bar. He overheard the man's strange question. "That, my friend, depends on how much faith you put in quantum physics," Luke said. "My contacts tell me you're handy with a weapon and could use some credits. I happen to have an extremely dangerous but well-paying job. Interested?"

Red skull had just finished the first glass of water and was going for his second glass when a reply to his question echoed through the room.haha that's what a lot of poltergeists seem to say But oddly enough quantam physics seems to be less accurate than theoretical physics. Wait you're not dead are you? He drank more of his water right after the question, The person on the other side of the counter began to back away and made drinks for other people while silently pressing a button under the other side of the counter that would alert the guards silently.
The mission the other masked man spoke of got Skull's attention Dangerous but well paying?! It reminds me of the time I drowned a tank during a desert mission... It might be fun , count me in As Skull finished speaking multiple men in makeshift armour and a few blasters showed up from the back room, We're going to have to ask that you get off the counter and take your business elsewhere, All three of you! the guards spoke to both the men and the female that was sitting at the table that the man with the orange mask came from the guards assumed they were working together or something. its sort of rude to give commands to a lady, infact its rude to just jump in and give orders without introductions... Guy mick oder giverer..rer Skull spoke in his usual calm and careless tone.

"Glad to hear it," Luke said before turning his attention to the guards. "We don't want any trouble with you, but I'm sure that these two will be happy to return the favor if you decide to make some." He flexed the fingers of his left hand, showing off the highly illegal Mandalorian Crushgaunt he was wearing. "I doubt you want that."

Niobe had been watching from the table with the justified idea that their new masked friend might be a little bit unstable and this was Luke's job. But when the guards entered and ordered them all out the air changed somewhat and she found the need to relocate herself closer to Skirata and his pal.
"I'd really prefer no trouble at all." she agreed, keeping her hands visible and trying to look unarmed. "We're not here to kick up a fuss. Ask Neela" she gestured to the waitress who took a few steps back. "Or... Ker." the bartender frowned, equal parts anger and confusion, and she resisted the urge to tell him the aurebesh on his name tag was still legible. "We're all friends here." Taking a step closer to the lead guard she smiled charmingly and tilted her head to the red masked man "He's a bit high spirited but totally harmless, promise. And" she added significantly and hoped he'd get the hint, "He knows how to sit in chairs, most of the time." Topped off with a coy eyeroll it was the sort of speech that would probably work if not for the 'unstable masked man' factor. Now it was more of toss up.

The guards moved back diffensively upon noticing the piece of illegal Mandalorian weaponry, they held their standard blasters up defensively and kept their distance making sure that each guard had a clear shot of each of the three customers in question. Red Skull watched their formtion and movement behind his red mask as he finished his second glass of water and dropped a tip on the counter The water was average but the entertainment here isn't too bad the man behind the counter simply looked at him then got punched in the shoulder by Red skull in the shoulder but in a playful manner.
The female at the table seemed extremely observent and was probably analysing everyone before she decided to stand up and move towards them. She finally decides to join the party Red skull spoke as the lead guard shot him a rather unpleasent look. The lady seemed to use a calming and charming tone along with calming speach and it seemed to be working since the lead guard actually switched from an offensive stance and was now holding his blaster beside him instead of aiming at the three. The other guards followed their leader's example, her charm seemed to be working until her last statement caused a chuckle to erupt from Red skull Very well then He got off the counter and sat on one of the chairs I hope you're all happy. the guards walked away now that order was returned but still kept an eye of the three Red skull sat down waiting for the others to settle down as well.

"Well," Luke said once they were seated at their booth once again, "That's one way to make an introduction." He looked at Red Skull. "I would tell you the same thing I told her, that this is dangerous and it might make you some powerful enemies, but something tells me you wouldn't care. I assume both of you know what beskar is?"

"Metal." Niobe said, smile sliding away as she curled back into her chair. "Really good metal. I took a passenger carrying a few pounds of it last month, a courier ferrying just a few hunks of rock." She looked a little sullen as she said it, swishing the water around her nearly empty glass. She hadn't even looked at Skull since the guards incident.
